Songs of protest and peaceful resistance, as a tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. In light of our new President, this is a celebration as well as a remembrance, with songs of emancipation and the civil rights movement, and songs of rejoicing and rebirth. This will be the premiere event in "River Tree Presents," a new monthly series of free music and spoken word performances, sponsored by River Tree Arts at their new secondary site at North Dam Mill in Biddeford. It's timed to coincide with Biddeford's monthly Art Walk.
